聖若瑟英文小學 (Kowloon Bay) 好嗎 ?

如題, 請問有沒有家長知道此小學好不好 ?? 多謝指教

我自己覺得應該是不錯的小學，有爭議的問題係：佢個直屬中學差D，不配小學。不過，要轉返英中，都要經過評估既，也唔會太差。

Frankly speaking, this school has a very high academic standard, especially in English. It is a traditional school and has a lot of homework and exams.

This school encourges its students to continue their studies in its associated seconday school by all means but the seconday school is a Chinese school with no track record. For sure, the seconday school  is not a dream school to most of the parents. Worse still, this school falls in a school net which does not have many EMI schools. As such, there will be very limited choices for its P6 graduates.

I recommend that you only consider this school if you have no better choice. What is the point of working hard for six years and end up in a Chinese secondary school with no track record.

What's school you choice in 1 st & 2rd round?  

St Joseph - Kowloon Bay is a good primary school.  Good discipline, high english standard.   But it is traditional and private school.  They have high pressure to student.  many test, exam, homework.  

Even that most student still love their school and feel happy!

I agree with king1997- what is the point of working hard for six years and end up in a Chinese secondary school with only 0.16A/student;71.9% pass Chinese and ONLY 47.6% student pass in HKCEE English (quoted from Ming Pao).

妳仔仔不是今年昇小一嗎？ Or 派位不理想？

我有同事兒子今年由聖若瑟小學昇聖若瑟中學(已經讀緊中一)，她說學校要求學生第一論選自己學校，一般都收，如不選又派得唔好，就無得吃回頭草。而且她兒子也很想入讀此中學，所以還是選了。

她說大部份學生會讀噃此中學。參考！

我就覺得一間小學無一千都幾佰學生，無可能個個都喜歡間學校，個別case，唔好睇得咁重！

有時間去看看中五選校指覽，他們收中六生成績絕對唔低，無乜位收外來生，咁講法佢哋都有好多人考得唔錯law！

大家也有替仔仔撿學校，知做父母的心情好患得患失啦！我要多D信息support我D决定。
主要係自己的想法也一直唔確定。最初，我最在意離家遠近，選前三甲都係家門口，唔需搭校車。被親友批唔肯俾仔仔多D心機。就急著補救，但也唔考慮太遠既學校。
其實，我原本想D好簡單。我覺得家門口幾間係不錯的中小，已足够對付個小學生了，家長也方便與校方聯繫，也可以多D機會參加學校的活動。仔仔乘小學學好中文，中學就一定要英中了。
之後，想法就一路變，主要係擔心中小上英中的機會唔多，縱然上了英中又會有困難跟上。聖若瑟我就中意係英小。但是，我就希望confirm佢既中學係唔係真要轉返英中，抑或佢既畢業生升其他英中的機會比較多。

我仔仔派著第一志願，解釋過原因啦，這第一志願也冇得比聖若瑟，佢冇中學既，所以原本冇需要咁煩。但係仲有其他考慮，我有個BB囡，生下來就體弱多病，剛剛住了三個星期醫院，我白天返工，夜裏陪醫院，基本不顧仔仔。我也要自問，我有幾多時間和精力俾仔仔，仲有，看囡囡D情况，將來只得在家門口讀小學穩妥D，所以，若仔仔讀緊，就可以爲妹妹鋪條路。
昨夜訓覺，一夜腦子裏都係聖若瑟，好累呀！
