As far as I observe from the last few years, PG is the main thing. PG 44 and 45 will get offer for sure. PG 43 depends. May be some do. CU gave CO I think 2-3 weeks after interview. It was written on their email or letter. I think condition is around 42 or 43, cannot remember.

Of course, they will not give out offers to everyone who had interview. In fact, only small percentage of students been interviewed would receive CO. But if she got very good IB result at the end (43+), she can contact CU and still have chance. So don’t give up. Good luck.

One point higher just gimmicks. How many CO granted?

Cambridge’s offer lower than HKU 2-4 points, so .......

Different U has different philosophy, give lower CO. another meaning is the U really want to capture the student, even he may score lower points in the exam due to whatever reasons.

Don’t just look at the score superficially!

I don't know what the actual rationale or philosophy is about foreign U, but to my knowledge, several IB students whom I knew last years are in fact they all received higher CO from HKU than CUHK
