中大 Admission with Advanced Standing http://admission.cuhk.edu.hk/international/requirements.html
Applicants who meet specific requirements as stipulated by the University for particular qualifications (including GCE-AL / International-AL, IB, Cambridge Pre-U, HKALE, associate degree / higher diploma) may apply for “Admission with Advanced Standing”. The minimum number of units for graduation for students admitted with Advanced Standing may be reduced by up to 24 units (normative period of study may be reduced by up to one year).

Applicants will be required to indicate in the application form whether they would like to be considered for "Admission with Advanced Standing".

不少人可以 不用修讀第一年課程，
所以先至話：就就算 嘥1 年時間 走去轉讀ib, 都係除笨有精。

咁你幾時轉去ib再入醫科？咁着數無理由唔轉喎，衹需兩年ib學費，借都借嚟交學費。

IB 成績事實的而且確今年 "水" 漲咗, 呢點無可否認

但IB 課程絕對唔係 "容易", 科大&港大&中大&加拿大 top 1 多倫多大學好清楚事實顯示俾大家知 IB 某啲科目係等於大學 year 1 程度, 一啲都唔可以用 "容易" 嚟形容 IB 課程.

不斷叫人去捉"水" 魚 (IB), 講到條 "水"魚又大又肥又美味, 但唔又提水及唔講俾人知條魚係邊度, 我哋可以去邊度搵到"水"魚, 可以用咩野攻略及捷徑方法混入魚群!

HKU MBBS:
Applicants with GCE A-Level, Cambridge Pre-U or IB Diploma qualifications and at least seven years of secondary education at the time of being admitted to the University will be granted 6 credits of Advanced Standing for Core University English course.

這個英文，就算DSE都有得waive，好似拎5*就可以了。唔係某些考試獨有。
waive呢個英文係可以用英文考試分數去決定要唔要讀，就算用AP/SAT/IELTS都有得waive（過某個分數）.大學網站有寫清楚各個exam curriculum要幾多分。唔算係advanced standing。

I believe one can apply for exemption if s/he gets 5** in DSE, but the 6 units are not earned.  Course requirement exemption is different from credit transfer.  No one can earn local university credits by DSE exam.
“At least 7 years of secondary education” is a necessary condition for advanced standing.

仲有呢間 Carmel School https://www.carmel.edu.hk/admissions/tuition-fees, 唔知洗唔洗必須同一宗教才能夠申請入讀，除了宗教門檻外，我估收生成績門檻相對地較低吧 （純粹我估！）

IB學生不要將大學條件取錄當作是必定的分數。例如香港大學醫科的IB分數要求是42-43分，但是預計分卻要求44分，才會有面試。

講明係predicted grade,  當然有樂觀或者悲觀嘅估計， 估得樂觀一些，對學生入大學嘅機會，會提高一些！
對於一些競爭大的學系, predicted grade 分數高的才能有面試的機會!

由於內地 教育制度大改革, 或者會有很多學生從內地轉學到香港

我諗佢誤解咗個現實世界既運作，問題唔係讀IB入醫科除唔除笨有精。而係點解入到一間有IB而又學生考得分數高既學校。情況就好似B1英中入三大比例高，但係如果佢小朋友只係B3生，根本就同B1英中無緣。
