我兩個小朋友派左啟思呀, 你地收左小一入學組寄出嘅信未呀, 我今日收到啦, 不過唔知參加大抽獎會唔會影響學校對小朋友嘅信心, 我當然想參加大抽獎啦, 有多個機會!!

我個囡讀嗰間幼稚園係直升上小學,但我只是交了回條給學校留位,而學校又沒有要我交留位費.如我交了留位費是否不可以再參加統一呢 thx

In the letter from Education Department, parent have two choices

1. "I still wish to take part in the Central Allocation"
2. "I do not wish to take part in the Central Allocation and I would like to withdraw his/her application from the P1 Admission System".

So, any parent can advise what will happen if I choose option 1.

You are absolutely free to join the central allocation. Howevre, it depends on whether the private school will cancel your reservation or not if they know that you still join the central allocation.

Some primary school does not allow this, e.g. DGS.

very　sorry我都不太清楚. 如果給私小交了留位費, 就應該就可以參加統一派位, 只不過教署會通知私小家長參加統一派位.

不如你開一個新topic問下此小學的家長的意見及經驗?

好肯定教統局會知會私小(有關佢地有學生join左大抽獎), 不過點處理, 就間間私小唔同, 有d學校完全准許, 有d講明會out, 你要問返間小學, 千祁唔好亂黎
我女女間私小就講明會out(雖然只係講, 無簽任何野), 但我唔打算搏lu

I think the possiblity to get a place through the central lucky draw is very high as I know that there are a lot of children got a place in those DSS from which it means they are not enter the centrla lucky draw.

但係如果已交留位費比私小, 而私小亦無要你簽放棄大抽獎既文件, 即使我仍然參加2nd round 抽獎亦唔會有問題架wor

If the private school did NOT ask you to sign any letter agreeing to forfeit the lucky draw or withdraw your kid's seat if they discover your kid is on the lucky draw list, you can go ahead to enroll the lucky draw.  like SFA, APS they allow accepted student to join the lucky draw.

why did u all say you have get the " notice" from educational dept to ask you to take part in the ".1 lucky draw" already ???

I haven't got any.

And I have phoned and asked educational dept. They said that they have not yet send out the notice letter to the students.
