Hi bignose & kellyaugust2004,

Where do you live?  I live in Laguna City.  My daughter seems very tired everyday when returning home.  She's not excited about the new life but also no complaint.  She said the teachers are nice.  I prepared lunch box for her as I want to know how much she ate.  However, yesterday when she returned home, we found that she only ate the rice but not the dish (we separate them into 2 boxes) as she opened only 1 box.  I wondered nobody helped her.

hello, i lived in tai koo shing and get on school bus at 7:30. how about u ? what time does your girl need to get on the school bus?

how about other three days?  
my boy ate very very ... little according to Ms Chan (i called her today).  i ordered the lunch box. ....  hmm... so, i'm now thinking of how to encourage him to eat more .

hi all, we got three homework to do today, right? but when i asked my son, for math, is it the textbook or workbook, my son is not sure.
and for the english writing, he didn't know how many to write. ...

Hi kellyaugust2004, I had the same problem as you last nite, Natalie told me no math hw but the hw book wrote bkmathP.5-6.  I guessed bk is book then I pushed Natalie to do it.  For GE, Natalie said the writing is 1 full pg.  I clarified w Ms. Chan this morning we hv done correctly.  I told her about the prob that Natalie seemed didnt know clear her daily hw and she couldnt explained what teachers asked her to do.  Ms Chan said all teachers kept reminding students many times but it takes time for the students to learn.

Hi bignose, my school bus is No.1.  How's your class teacher?

Just to say Hello, my girl Joanna up to now enjoys her school life v. much . But the school bag is too heavy for her and the homework record book seems too simple to read , like yesterday I didn't know the eng.writing is 1 page or not : . but let her teacher remind her la !

hello all,

thanks for sharing.  when i asked my son today after he came back (5pm already), he also can't tell me exactly what to do today.   let's help :

chinese :
1) distribute the dictionary (?)
-- is that mean we need to bring back the dictionary?
2) "little writer" is the yellow papaer
-- but my son doesn't know what to do
3) book p8-9

english :
1) story book -- so , don't understand what to do

math :
1) penm1  -- my son didn't write anything on the green book....
2), WB P2-3  --  this can understand, but
vocab x 4  ---- don't understand

and i didn't help my son to bring the PTW book and Wb..... ..

i called back to school , but no one answer


do u have any idea? heee

我兒也是P1E, 家住沙田，校車上也有一個P1C男孩子，可是不知他的姓名？

經過幾天功課，正如大家一樣與兒子玩猜謎語。 問他做完功課未？他說：等回家看homework book，又說沒有功課，等我回家差不多八點，其實，他只完成一半，唯有馬上催促他完成功課。

問兒子有關class number 與為何不見書本及workbook ？他也是答可能在學校，我只好寫便條給班主任，放在功課冊上，老師十分仔細解答。

相信一段日子，他們才可適應，大家要有愛心和耐性對待他們。

Hello everyone,
I'm happy to get to know more moms in P.1E in this web.  Hope we'll have a chance to meet soon.  Last nite my daughter was able to explain to me all the hw except the english story.  I didnt know what to do with it so just asked her to read it out once.  For the Chinese dictionary she said teacher didn't asked her to bring today so I didnt put it in the school bag.  

BTW, do we need to paste a photo in the handbook or wait until the school distribute the photos?

hello, regarding the story book, concluded from other class's moms opinons, i just put one of his own eng story book. and i didn't put the chinese dictionary too as it's to heavy.

the photo, i guess will wait school gives us as they took it at school ma. heeeee

let's share  and support. i'm so happy to see his class photo .

one question, for Thur, do we need to wear sport suit or waite till Oct (as other moms said the LWL will start in Oct, so only wear sport for LWL in oct. ....

what do u think?
