I was told there are over 400 students have been given the offers by this school. How many vacancies are available in P.1? How could SFA issue 400 offers? Anyone could share and comment the information.

間間都一定收多,預左有人唔讀,但SFA又好似收得多過頭

佢地咁多年學校,一定好有經驗知道每年有幾多人放棄學位,所以好老定

I counted it that day. 300+. Below 350. Not over 400.

其實sfa應該好有經驗估計到最後有幾多人會讀, 但究竟每年到最後有幾多人入讀? 每班有幾多人? 有好多人都是以sfa作為踏腳石, 讀近期間投考其他小學, 所以到最後小六在sfa畢業的人數也不是很多.

I roughly remember that there were 4 columns in the admission list, which were sticked to the notice board at the school
entrance. Each column contains about 30-40 names with application nos, and the last column was not full. Thus, I guess that
there might be about 150-160 successful applicants.

I agreed with 2046, there was around 350+.

I counted it by myself on that day, there was around 90 in one column and there was three full columns and one unfull column. Hence, I believed that there was over 350+ candidates have been admitted into this school.

But I think the school can manage it even they are over acceptance.

This is what confusing me as the parents. Thanks for the provding information even still having non-accurate numbers. I think the only party should be blamed is the school, why there are many uncertained information rumouring arround.

Every year, SFA admits over 300 candidates in the first round. But usually less than 160 register finally. So SFA had second round of admission after June in previous years.

Well, I have counted the list and there're four columns on the list. The last column is not full. Yet, I counted the first column one by one and there are more than 80 names. So, my conclusion is below 350.

It is not hard to understand why there will be 300+ candidates to be accepted. Just like many schools, which selected the final 300 into the last interview and included them in the waiting list. I think SFA pretty sure their own position and have experiences in estimating the number.

They admitted form on one day. Interview on one day. Now, offer places once and not even need to issue waiting list. That's their style. haha!

Anyway, I think it's not that important for how many students have been accepted. The school should be able to get 160 (? I can't remember the exact number) right candidates finally. As we all know that some parents may select through-train school and some may use it as a backup in case they want to join the second round lucky draw.

我就無咗呢個煩惱, 因為亞女已經落遞了, 不過算啦, 當攞個經驗, 疊埋心水入資助, 慳番唔少囉
