My understanding on "自行派位" is to "knock the door". It seems to me quite a number of students from STMKG can go those good schools (especially for boys). Surely, we don't know other factors like having old-boy parents or having siblings in the school.
For SH, boys cannot go to the primary school so it's a disadvantage (unless he's going to help her younger sister to get into this school). Anyone know what primary school did the boys from SH usually go? I don't know neither so I think STMKG is better.
"自行派位" doesn't mean "knock the door".
It means the first round of the application process - the round that depends on how many points you have got so it has nothing to do with which kindergarten the kid goes to.
統一派位 means the 2nd round of the application process - the lottery.
This round depends on where you live + luck - again nothing to do with the kindergarten.
What you should be looking at is the section at the bottom - 自己投考.
These are the schools which may take the kindergarten into consideration at time of application.
