Good news for us.... = wait-listed.

If accepted, too good to turn down,
if rejected, feels bad.

So I guess this is good news and I am sure my daughter will love this story ending!

Oh sorry about the news. Your daughter was wait-listed also last year?

May be try to send a letter to principal, since you are so sincere about SPK, may be try to let her feel so too. If she doesn't give you the chance, may be this is really not the right school for you also.
