How old is your daughter?
Your daughter could have felt that going to school is a hazel (traveling, homework, etc.).
I've taught piano for 5 yrs in Vancouver, and I started to teach piano in Hong Kong since last year. I've found that many kids in Hong Kong tends to reject what they are supposed to do. But in fact, they didn't mean it. Like in your example, when she is in school already, she will be fine. It's just that there might be something that she doesn't want to deal with. Very likely she din't get as much attention in school as she gets at home. That's partly why we all have to go to school - to learn to socialize, and to work with other people. Don't worry, I'm sure your daughter will like school once she finds her interested there. :)
Cheers,
