LTCL, Dip-ABRSM, BGS

如果一個鋼琴老師有以上既程度, 再加係浸大音樂系畢業, 同而家讀緊音樂既master, 唔係fresh graduate, 如果咁既level 會收幾多學費? thanks
想問下 LTCL, Dip-ABRSM, BGS , 即係咩野程度?

I think at least 300-400 per hour. Of course it depends on his/her experience and goodwill.

LTCL is equivalent to year 3 standard in university. You can said it is Trinity diploma level 2. (highest level 3)

A music degree holder is much different to non-degree holder. I mean in price, skills and teaching methods.

Dip-ABRSM is a diploma attained from the Royal school. You can say it is the diploma level 1 in ABRSM.

BGS I am not sure...maybe bachelor of GXXXX SXXXX?? I don't know.

her qualification (LTCL+music degree) is good. Even the famous piano performers or teachers, they may not take FRSM or FTCL exam.
BTW, you should not only focus on teacher's qualification only, experience and teaching method are more important.

Depends on which university. For local university, CU and BU music is good, but HKU is not so good.

APA train a performer. But university will train an all rounded musician. Two schools are having different goals.

In general, teachers play better if she studies in APA. However, it does not represent all CU and BU are worse than APA.

1.孩子學琴常然以彈為主,老師當然要彈得,唔係講得就算
2.彈得,當然係APA,其他大學難望項背。中大浸大唔係冇,不過要許多年先出一個。
3.APA 亦分Master、Degree、Dip。
4.是否主修鋼琴.,此點必要,讀Music同主修...

You cannot judge a teacher is good or not by focusing on her qualifications.

Please judge by attending her lessons or asking opinions from her students.

其實老師係邊一間學校並唔重要,因為學校唔能夠代表老師既教學方法.而有人覺得老師要彈得先代表教得我就不認同.教學好著重表達能力,老師能不能解釋才是最重要.如果老師教學的時候淨係彈比學生聽而不解釋甘同聽cd有乜分別.

Associate of the Royal Conservatory of Music in Piano Performance係canada RCM既certificate. 衣張cert 係between ATCL & LTCL 的.
