上website 寫她們的課程分為基礎,拓展和通達共11主, 那是否基礎 (P1-P.2),拓展 (P.3-F.1)和通達 (F.2-F.5) 呢?謝謝解答!

正是啦。書院以校本課程、專科專教的制度，參考國內外中小學經驗，期以十一年完成中小教育。首兩年基礎階段(基階)/foundation stage，第三至第七年拓展階段(拓階)/development stage，第八至十一年通達階段(通階)/mastery stage，我們又稱之為254。十一年直通車教育，日常課堂節數及上課時間相對較長，比對主流的633小學中學學制，可謂有辣有唔辣。雖然十一年學制難以清晰的跟十二年學制分級比排掛鉤，然而基於政府發放六年中學學額津貼的安排，FS1至DS3大致可以歸納為小學級別，而DS4至MS4六個級別則可理解為中學級別。

KenBaBa, 謝謝你回應, 那如果11年完成中小學,比其它學校快1年,真道書院自然學習進度加快,那他們現在上課時間是多長呢?

Dear Funling,

以暑假前 DS4 為例，上課時間是 0810 至 1615。
較低年級的最後一課，有時是上一些興趣班/課程，有時是上體育課。

我想問吓FS1-3 是否是中英數? 中文是普通話定係廣東話教呢 ? 英文會否NATIVE ENGLISH SPEAKER? 其它有什麼課程? 是用那種語言教呢 ?

Hi amymitpro,

我個囝囝今年九月升FS2，以08/09年度FS1為例，中文及數學是以廣東話教授，而英文老師是中國人，但聽說是Major in Eng.，根據阿囝的表達，老師大部份時間是用英文講課，但當小朋友不明白時，老師會用中文輔助。

其實除了英文用英文教，普通話科用普通話敎，其他科都是以廣東話教授。以我囝囝情況，FS1是一個適應期，由幼稚園小朋友變成小學生，實在有很大變化。

想問下真道既課程, 學生是否同期預備大學預科國際文憑考試和香港中學文憑考試? 還是分班制, 有些考香港試, 有些班考ib試呢?

Sorry I have a question about the school fee of last 4 years of the 11 year curriculum, ie Mastery stage. Since MS students will prepare for IB and NSS, will there be a dramatic increase in the school fee for the last 4 years?

依我理解，或者可以嘗試用另一解說來回答吧：我校學生是必須考「新高中」的；不過我校亦會成功引進 IBD，而且校方希望全部學生都報考 IBD，這樣就可降低 IBD 課程成本、學生又可以利用兩個考試兩個機會爭取較佳成績、而 IBD 考試又可為學生帶來更多升學機會、更多學府選擇、於考慮本地或海外升學方面可以有更大的彈性。

Hi KenBaBa,
I think most Logos parents who are active participants in this forum perceived the statement to be an attack on the school’s vision as well as its implementation. That was why it had led to a sparkle of debate in the midst of a normal discussion. Nevertheless, I agree with you that an explanation to the non-Logos parents is necessary to help clarify the queries and concern at the back of their mind. Thanks for stepping in and let’s move forward amicably.

Hi amymitpro,

Please forgive me to reply in English.

For the teaching language in subjects, the School will have a graduate change arrangement so that the students could adapt to the change and also learn the content with sufficient depth.

For example, Chinese are taught mainly in Cantonese for the first few years. It does not simply help student to learn and familiar with new words and chinese sentence structure, but also guide them in Chinese poem/literature appreciation. Cantonese helps to communicate more clear and precisely.

However, at the same time, the students have to learn Putonghua. Some Chinese paragraphs / poems will be used in Putonghua lesson.

At senior form, Chinese lession is taught in Putonghua.

For Mathematics, it is taught in Chinese at junior form and gradually change to bilingual and english only at senior form.

Besides, the curriculum also includes science, history (chinese and western), geography, economy, social studies, etc.

In additional, the students are being educated with different level of learning, from knowledge recognition, to situation comparison, analysis and application, up to idea reformation.
