嗰兩頁紙我都唔知交邊樣好:
- covering letter
- kindergarten recommendation letter
- kindergarten report
- resume including extra-curricular activities/awards etc

我諗視付你覺得乜o野資料最值得同學校分享. cover letter最好有, 因為cover letter你可以講o下你點解拎呢間學校, 對佢有乜認識, 自己個仔有幾適合讀呢間學校, 第時會點同學校合作, 平時點樣培育個仔..... 至於第二頁, 如果你小朋友成績表有分數/級數而又好好成績, 咁咪放成績表o羅, 如果你小朋友參加過一d好特別o既活動又或者拎過d乜o野好勁o既獎咁咪放cert或者打個list o羅, 再唔係如果你搵到一個對學校有影響力o既人幫你寫reference letter, 咁咪放reference letter o羅! 3選1. 而冇位放o既資料其實可以o係cover letter度提o下o家!

Yes, and you can try to reduce the certificates size to A5 then can put more into the page.

I have submitted the form today - to the security guard only.  Obviously he has no clue whether the student report should be included or not.  He only said the "extra' papers submitted will be returned by mail.

Always think Ramondi is a DSS school, but it's actually a private school. I got this feeling because my friend's son (now P2) was being accepted by the school and was told he couldn't join the lucky draw. Does anyone know if I can join the lucky draw if I apply it? Does it change to a private school recently?

Some private schools will ask you to sign an undertaking not to engage in "lucky draw".  Since they will submit the list of registered students to EMB, EMB will advise the school at a later stage if the student continues to go ahead with the luck draw.  So the private school can cancel your registration.

That is my understanding, pls correct me if I am wrong.

you can't join the lucky draw if you accept the offer from Ramondi......i've called them b4 and the staff says so....therefore, i didn't apply this "private" school for my son....

我問過教育處,職員話私校可以取消私校的學位.但不可以剝奪學生參加"lucky draw"的權利.那麼在私校"sign an undertaking not to engage in "lucky draw" 是否等同報讀直資小學要放棄"lucky draw"?有本書說"當獲得直資學額時,便不能參加政府的派位制度.有部份私校也會有同樣的安排,詳情請自行向各私校查詢".

Accepting a place at a DSS school means you have to give up the "lucky draw" because every eligible student can only accept one place of a DSS/ aided/ government school. DSS schools though receive monthly fees from the students are in fact also receive subsidy from the government.

間私校唔剝奪學生ge權利，不過佢都有權取消個私校學位。咁註冊俾哂錢，然後又去大抽獎，然後私小取消學位，抽唔到好學校，私小又無埋law.

直資跳咗個step，教育局根本唔俾你抽。

當年 2005年我兒子都考入 高主教 小一...但要 give up " lucky draw"..真係諗左好多日..因本人十分喜歡此校.但又吾想放棄大抽獎....
最後選了另一間私校( 因此校可接受 2nd round " lucky draw " ).點知在此校只讀了2年(P.1. & P.2 )學校就結束...唉 ! 大抽獎又抽吾到,到 P.3 時又要週圍找學校....
所以真係要想清楚..吾好心多..考到心儀的學校就吾好想其它啦.

May I know if the security guard gave you any confirmation or receipt when you submitted the application form?  I don't have any and wonder when will they send out the interview notice.

我始終都唔係好明, 如我報直資(例:st paul co-ed),如幸運地收左,就話要sign an undertaking not to engage in "lucky draw, 咁就無得參加大抽獎者. 乜高主教唔係私校咩, 如又幸運地收左, 去唔去註冊又會唔會無得參加大抽獎呢? 我越黎越混亂了 ....... 攪不清 ~~

No, no confirmation or receipt.  I have not yet received anything from the school for interview....
