That means we will receive notice by early April. Anyone has an idea of how long the school will allow for the registration if accepted. The reason I ask such question is that the whole family will be out of town by late March and return to HK by mid April. Is there any chance I will miss the deadline of registration if it is so lucky.

me too. I am so worried about if my kids is offered the place. However, the whole family is not in HK.
What should we do? Please give us more idea & suggestion.

I called to phone for further information about offer letter. I am so disappointed I only heard about the voice mail about arrangement of collecting application form. I was so strange that I may not contact with staff by phone.

Base on last year's schedule :-

1) Acceptance letter posted out by the school on April 8th

2) We received letter on April 9th

3) Need to write a letter stating your acceptance of offer and returned to school before April 22nd.

I hope this will help you work out this year's schedule since the school will post out the acceptance letter earlier.

my friend's son had interviewed after CNY 2010, they got letter last week, stated that they are not accepted.

That early? According to their letter before, they will send out notification at the end of March (no matter you are accepted or rejected).

i didn't get the letter yet, but my friend told me she got rejection letter already. Her son is studying in Victoria

so, last year they gave parents a bit more than 10 days to respond? that's not too bad...

will be away during Easter too... i know it is extremely difficult to get in, but, we still hope we will hear good news when we come back :)

Thanks for the sharing. Do you know whether all accepted kids are baptised or with parents as DGS/DBS old boys/girls?

No. My son was not a Christian. My husband and I are not old boy/girl of DBS/DGS.

I also didn't receive the letter. However, I heard from one parent that her son's classmates have received positive result. But, according to our letter they will send the letter by end of Mar 2010 no matter success or not? Do you think the school will send thousand of letters by phases? Impossible!!! Any ideas?
