My daughter applied oboe for APA Junior Music Course this year. She need to take a written examination on Aural and Theory for 1 hour. Any one have taken this written examination before? Do you know that what will be tested? Please give me some information. Thank you!

如果政策不變, 有筆試即係話已經收左, 筆試內容你非常深既, 就算讀完5級樂理都只懂答一兩條題目, 目的只係用來分班(musicianship), 沒必要做試前準備

Thank you for your promt reply. Hope that my daughter is really accepted. However, if most students know only 1-2 quesion , how can they classify the students?

My son was also asked to do a written test and I was going to ask his theory teacher to give him an additional lesson to "beef up" his theory and aural..... I certainly hope that the "policy you mentioned remain the same"

放心去筆試,分班而己,每年升一班,可以讀到中四、五。
反而現在應考慮有否心儀的老師,未定之前看能否被收!

Thank you for your information. As My daughter has not study the Grade 5 Theory, is it difficult to study the musicianship in the coming year? For the first one year, is it mainly learn musicianship and learn the instrument one by one with the teacher? Any examination before the student promote to the next level? Sorry for so many questions, as I am worrying whether my daughter can handle the course or not?

請問如何及幾時才可知道誰是老師呢？囝囝的cello老師其實教得很好，無論比賽或考試都超班完成，如果並不是心儀的老師，真的不知如何選擇？
同時聽朋友說如果報MJ101就一定要考筆試，而MJ201就未必，請問是否所有報MJ101都要考，抑或是被取錄了的才考呢？

基本是通知取錄時便知道誰是老師。
好的老師還有更好的老師，當你知道更多和有所比較時便會明白當中的差別!超班完成相信你孩子的天份佔了相當部份，不要浪費,把目標再訂高少少,不要懷疑孩子的能力,上得到就讓他上。
如果並不是心儀的老師，還是有其他方法,不用太擔,選擇始終在你手!。
先說一句.................就個人有限的理解
MJ101 Junior班數多差別大,自然要評估孩子最適合。
而MJ201 Pre-Junior孩子細,班數差別少,就未必有此需要。

你好, 女女今年5歲, 學緊琴約2個月, 出年想考APA Junior, 見個要求要有2-3級, 但咁多人考, 其實得2-3級有無機會? 煩指教!
