How about the teachers and the curriculum? I hv applied the N1 class at Ming Wai in Prince Edward Branch. My girl is going to attend the class in Nov. I m really worried about my choice!!!!

我個女在北角明慧返過play group, 11月會正式返幼兒班. 學校環境不算好, 操場無冷氣....但老師算有愛心.
他們辦學40幾年, 算是歷史比較長的私校.

Money-Mind sch.
when 1 st time i go to interview.
so show off parents asking some rubbish question. But last time I still pay for the 留位費. because i have a small age baby. But now I already find another one N class full day kindi for my girl....

i think i will quit the sch.

I don't care it is money-mind school as it is a private kinder! I just want to know their curriculum and teachers. By the way, i have already attended their playgroup in Prince Edward. The teachers are quite nice and friendly but i don't know their teaching attitudes in N1 classes are the same as the playgroup...

I buy the idea that money-minded is not the big problem.

But I can share with you my observation that, you don't get reasonable quality of teaching with the money that you pay.

For one simple example, the audio equipment is so poor, you can't even hear clearly what exactly is the lyric being sung, so are you satisfied?

Yes, the English song is really nice, the teacher tried so hard to engage the children to follow to sing the song,...and I'm sure your child would like the song and would repeat the song, or even would imitate to sing the song,....provided if they really can hear clearly.

I think this school does not able to fulfill just this basic requirement.

How much do you need to buy a set of reasonable quality of audio equipment? Not worth $2000! How come the school doesn't provide to the student?

my little one is going to start nursery at ming wai prince edward branch after he has turned two in mid november - we got no other choice as we applied really late (2010 july) so ... ameinahor - ur baby is definitely going there too??

we would love to join their playgroups but we are still abroad at the moment but it's comforting to hear that ur little one enjoyed it. lets keep our fingers crossed...

if u dun mind we cud meet up before our little ones start nursery ^_^ feel free to pm me! Ill be back in HK very soon
