I also have friends whose children have already graduated from Bromsgrove and Epsom. However, they just have fair comments on these two schools.
For Abingdon, Tonbridge and Shrewsbury, my friends highly recommend them. In fact, Abingdon even did not consider my son’s application for Grade 10 last year. Though Shrewsbury’s ranking is not high, my friend’s son was admitted by Cambridge after graduating from Shrewsbury several years ago.
For Warwick, you may consider the Asian student ratio in the boarding house and it is a good boarding school too.
Other than these schools, why not consider Winchester which is also highly recommended by my friend.
