Yes, 其實 St. Paul 冇話過自己係屬於一條龍學校, 佢幼稚園係非牟利, 小學係私立, 中學係直資, 另外照教育局既St. Paul 幼稚園,小學, 中學既學位資料, 數字上都真既唔係100%配合.

St. Paul's Day Nursery N4 大約 70
St. Paul's Kindergarten K3 大約 180
St. Paul's Convent School (Primary Section) P1 大約 220
St. Paul's Convent School F1 大約 240

依照以上大約數字, 幼稚園升上小學會有30名落弟, 而30名裡面當有10名係男生, 咁計升上去小學既大約有 90%, 所以 St. Paul's Kindergarten 亦都註明不負責介紹或保送兒童入任何小學, 而小學上中學既情況似乎比較容易, 當然仲要睇埋操行成績啦.

其實經過我呢輪既調查, 好多有小學涵接既幼稚園,係收生數字上都同小一學位有距離, 有D可能仲超過60%...

另外我唔係幾明你地講既SPP係指 St. Paul's Convent School (Primary Section) 定係 St. Paul's Primary Catholic School , 呢兩間學校一間係私立, 另一間係津貼, 收生既方法完全唔同, 升中既路亦都有分別.

Regarding your friend's case, it might also be true that small girls have more high risk. Say my daughter, she perform more confident and out-spoken this year compare with last year. On last year interview, honestly to say, she still have 6 months to 1 year apart with other children.

     And I have 2 friends which their kids also same as mine, born in Dec. and they let them be small girl and small boy before, they found no problems from K.1 to K.3, but start from P.1 & P.2, they feel their kids hardly follow the standard of the school, both of them go to famous school in Kowloon side. And endup they need to repeat in P.2 & P.3 respectively.... So they strongly insist me to let my girl to be Big girl instead of small girl.

         I didn't think my girl's learning ability is weaker than others, in fact I feel she learn fast tim! But as I'm working mama and sometime will fly out of town, I would have a bit worry on her study and need to make sure that she understand and could follow the school standard. It really have a big difference  in interview performance between last year and this year.

          I was really upset last year, when SPK reject my girl, although we don't expected too much as she is small girl. So I try it this year. Anyway, I think all of us did appreciate and proud of our kids that they take part in every single interview,  and no matter the what is the result, we should priase our little kids, which they did a great job!

我個女同校車的小１SPC學生，佢媽媽話個女讀幼稚園時一班１５人（其實係３０人一班但會分兩組，因很多時候都分開活動，所以小朋友只會和同組的１５個小朋友比較熟），到小學只有５個幼稚園時的同學讀返SPC，有D抽到HAPPY VALLEY 的ST. PAUL'S, 有D抽到MARYMOUNT, 好多家長抽到出名的津校都會放棄，所以直上SPC的機會好大．

Neglect 10 boys and 10 girls who can get the more famous school from lucky draw SPK --> SPC %=220/230=95%

Actually the chance is very very high!

Agreed. My friend told me that they had 2-3 boys in one class.  That means there had about 18 boys (6 class es including am and pm) that will not be promoted to St. paul Primary.  Still, there had some who are promoted to DGS will not stay in st. paul.   That means, the chance to promote to her primary is over 90%, very high.

我見佢用 250 呢個數計, 咁 SPK 有 180 個, 所以應該有計埋 SPN, 不過唔係用 80 姐, 其實呢個只係約數姐, 等D家長有個預算.

SPK有１８０人，上午９０，下午９０．

Hi,

But again, someone said SPC Primary have not open P1 application in recent years. If there are K3 students changes to other primary school, then does this true that SPC primary accepted related people daughter to fill the P1 vacanncies ?

There is a St. Paul's kinder in Tai Po, every year SPC Primary will reserve some seats for those K3 graduates from the St. Paul's kindergarten in Tai Po..As I heard from my friend, the figure is around 10 per year.

  I think waiting list is same as reject, I got a seat of SH (PM) and True Light (PM), Which one is better, pls give some advise......

"Sources" told me that high percentages of students can be promoted to the primary schools as:
1. there are some boys in each class (around 2-3 in a group)
2. some of the girls take the "lucky draw" and go to other primary schools that parents do not have to pay
but there is no guarantee because there is stll some uncertainity for the SPK as they do not have the exact figure every year.
If your girls are not "very troublesome" or "below standard", good news will be received in October in K3.

Just a piece of suggestion: SH rather than TL, comment from my colleagues (teachers)
