chunma 之前在 pm 中與我討論過一些問題, 可能大家都面對同樣的考慮, 所以得到 chunma 的同意後, 現將我們的 pm post 出來, 大家分享一下.

嘩, 原來東山咁貴ｋａ!!  我仲諗住去上堂添．不過你覺得老師教得好嗎？？　值不值得去上呢？　你上堂時是那個老師教的呢？　你 share 多些啦，等我再自己再留意下，再考慮下！！　因為我由東涌去，都好遠＆貴ｋａ！！

你囡囡有根底, starter school 多些人也影響不大吧.  最要緊是上堂開心.

Le beaumont = 金鐘 東山語言中心

Starters school is an English speaking kindergarten in Wanchai, they have afterschool phonics lessons on every Tue & Thu for 3 hours a day. Of course, there may be some shortfall because no. of student might be bigger than Le Beaumont.

i myself like french too.  i wanted to learn it at the uni but i don't have extra time at that time.  now!!  i am too old to learn new language la.......

for my girl, 3rd language like mandarin will be learnt first.  for franch may be started around 7.  maybe!!  just guess not planned.  depands on her interest.

Hi chuma,  almost forget to reply you.

我想我自己可以在家教, 因為我是 full time mami, 那可以陪她 "玩" 那麼久??  所以有些東西教下, 學下, 大家都有些目標.  而且, 我學完 jp 之後, 也覺得不太難, 因為我自己也喜歡英文哦, 也有一些 "底"!!

我個女當時 20個月, 無人/ centre會收她的.  我時常提的 jflc, 也只會收 4歲.  但我等她新開學, 適應了之後, 會帶她到 learning centre or private trainner 處上課的.  但我會先考慮 learning center, 因為多些小朋友一齊學開心些, 可以過群體生活.  而且, 專業些嘛!!

之前有個 mami, 龍馬媽媽 or 燁媽媽, 是找 robin chan 的.  好似係, 但我不肯定!!

在香港的 professional trainner 的 information, 可以到 jolly phonics 的官方 website 找到.

[在 website 的左手邊, 尾2一個紅色長方形, 寫着 "training" 的.  click 入去, 再在地圖上揀 "asia" 區, 便可以 scroll down 找到.]

我囡囡現在 k1 了, 我又大肚, 下年一月生.  現在我停了所有的 teaching (at home), 看看囡囡開學後的適應先.  but, 我有報 mandarin & music playgroup 俾佢去, 一week 各一 lesson. 其他的, 要再看看.

i think 6-8 is perfect, 10 is a bit too much.  but group learning is good to kids, they learn by playing.

我也是自己教, 但不須買全部教材的.  我就買了 finger phonics 1 set 7本.  jolly songs 1隻, 是歌仔的 cd 來的. 合共不過是 $300 左右.  

另外, 自己再加一些圖畫咭做 example, e.g. /h/ 會用隻手 (hand) 的圖畫咭, 旁邊加個 "h" 字母.  之後會讀: /h/ /h/ hand.  可以溫 sound + vocabulary.

另外, 要自己上堂, 自己先學, 知道正確發音先, 又可以學下點教小朋友.  我是在jolly faith learning centre 學一個家長班的.

自己教 single letter sounds呢, 以我的經驗, 只用10 分鐘就教完.  不需用很多時間.  不過你要教完之後, 再聽下 jolly songs or 時不時温習下, 小朋友的記憶才長久.  所以, 我通常是2-3 日 1 個 sounds.  教新 sounds 之前, 先用之前講的圖畫咭, 溫習所有學過的 sounds.

yes, phonics kingdom 比 jp 活潑, 但有些發音不太正確.  我之前都分享過, 如你有時間, 可以看看我之前在此 post 過的 message.

Jolly Faith Learning Centre 將會有一個新的 workshop at 奧運站的奧海城.  好方便我哦!! mtr 一條線直過. save :time:

其實 Summer 速成班超抵, $189一堂 + free workbook. 讀完一個 course 可以慳成 4xx.  不過阿女的暑期活動巳 full哂.... 都好可惜.
