NOTES TO PARENTS
1. St. Paul’s College Primary School has joined the Government’s Direct Subsidy Scheme (DSS) since September, 2003. The school fee for DSS classes for 2006 – 2007 is HK$30,000 per annum ($3000 per month).
2. This is a DSS boys’ school. Information on the School may be found in the School Prospectus (the CD-ROM attached). Parents are asked to read it carefully before completing the application form (sheet 3).
3. Completed application forms must be returned to the School Office by hand on 9th, 10th and 12th September 2005; from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Please do not send applications by mail.
4. Completed application forms should be returned together with photocopies of
- Proof of affiliation with the School, if any
- I.D. Card/Birth Certificate (please bring along the original for verification)
- Kindergarten 2 or the latest school reports
- Proof of extra-curricular activities/awards/School Head's recommendation letter, if any (maximum 5 pages)
- 2 self-addressed stamped envelopes
5. A non-refundable application fee of $30 is payable when the application form is submitted.
6. Applicants will be invited to attend a meeting in October 2005. The admission criteria are shown in Sheet 2.
7. Applicants will be notified of the admission result by mail on or before 22nd November 2005.

Admission Criteria for Primary One Places (2006 – 2007) under the Direct Subsidy Scheme
直接資助計劃小一收生準則（二零零六至二零零七年度）
The following Point System will be used to admit students. 校方將按下列「計分辦法」準則甄選學生。
In Section A, applicants may claim only one from（i）to（v）.
於A項中，申請人只能申報第（i）至第（v）的其中一項。
A(i) Brother(s) studying in St. Paul’s College or Primary School 兄長在聖保羅書院或小學就讀 20 points
(ii) Parent(s) teaching or working full time in St. Paul’s College or Primary School 父/母全職在聖保羅書院或小學工作 20 points
(iii) Parent(s) being a member of St. Paul’s College Council 父/母為聖保羅書院校董會成員 20 points
(iv) Parent(s) or brother(s) being a graduate of St. Paul’s College or Primary School
父/母或兄長為聖保羅書院或小學畢業生 10 points
(v) Firstborn Boy 首名出生兒子 5 points
B. Applicant of the right age (5 years 8 months to 7 years old by 1st September 2006; from 1st September 1999 to 31st December 2000)
適齡的兒童（即二零零六年九月一日開課時年滿五歲八個月至七歲； 由一九九九年九月一日至二零零零年十二月三十一日） 10 points
C. The Head of the school may also award up to 20 additional discretionary points.
The applicant will be invited to attend a meeting.
校長也可以酌情給予不超過二十分。申請人須出席會面。
