3間都係西區最多人爭既小學, 好難rank (唔好問邊間"好d"!).

其實都係要睇你手上有幾多分同埋你想要全日/半日.

基恩:全日, 有宗教分著數d.
聖彼得: 半日, 有宗教分著數d.
般官小: 全日, 冇宗教, 唔會計宗教o個5分.

只係可以講, 15分o係第一輪都幾渺茫.

可否分亨下, 在同樣分數基礎下, 校長會怎樣選小朋友, 住的地方"豪"些, 或父母職位高些, 會否有著數?

不會看背景的--不收portfolio，表格也不用填父母職業學歷。因爲3間學校都要跟政府收生程序，如遇到同分，將會random抽。

My son has scored 15 only. First round 般官小學 failed. And heard 基恩 is equally difficuit to enter since lots of brother/sister and christians apply.

Second round we've chosen 基恩 as first choice and luckily we've got it.

般官入英皇應該比其他同區小學機會大, 因是聯系, 今年基恩都有10個入英皇.

If the boy is a top student, the chance of getting into 英皇書院 is more or less the same no matter which school he is from. For an above average student, the easiet route is through 般官小 or 李陞.

As a private tutor and juding from the fact that very few 救恩 students are in the market looking for private tutors plus the fact that its allocation result is ok, this is a good school. You can also refer to EMB's report on the school.

For a school having a secondary section, we should pay attention to it as well. According to St Louis' own school report, its HKCEE passing rate is below 70%. Academically, it is mediocre.

Agree Uncleedward's comment on Kau Yan. Kau Yan 救恩 is a good school. The students in general have self motivation to learn and happy school life. It emphasis on all rounded education, not just academic. You can check their allocation result this year. They just posted it on website. Top girls get DGS/St Stephen Girls/ Ying Wah. Boys most to St. Paul Boys.
