No experience of DGJS. As to GH, the girls were devided into groups, around ten of each. Every girl could be accompanied by one parent, dad or mum. They were taken to a classroom, girls sat at the desks, and parents sat along the wall. Girls should take a box of color crayons or any other of the kind for drawing. They were asked to draw a picture of "My Family" in around ten minutes. At the same time, parents were asked to finish a queseionair, you can answer in English or Chinese. But I think English would be better. The most of the questions are about your daughters, such as what kind of foods does she like? What is her favorite clolor? What is her favorite book? How do you communicate with your daughter and how long do you spend in talking with her every day? What will you do when you stay with your girl? What do you do when your girl lose temper? etc. After finish drawing, the girls will be taken to another classroom. There, they will sit together and wait for interview. During the interview, they will be ask about the content of the drawing, mostly about the family. They were also asked some questions similar with what their parents just be answer in writing, such as what's your favorite color, food, and books etc. Maybe they should also answer a question in Mandarin. Perhaps it is not the whole profile. Hope it could be of help for you.
I'm not quite sure whether Our Lady is 聖母. If yes, I also have experience. You can just download the enrol form from the website of the school, fill it and mail to the school. No interview is required. Several days later, the school will notice you by mail to register and pay the fee for keeping the place. It is said that the school is quite good. But if there are alternatives, people always like to choose the one which is most difficult to gain. |
