Anyone is/will be studying in PIPS (Kowloon station)?

Any comment? 課程是否好淺? 老師好唔好呀?

My son is having playgroup there.

When I joined the orientation early this year, the teacher explicitly told us their curriculum is relatively easy and will make it very difficult if you plan to have your children sent to a HK traditional school.

How much is their playgroup?
Are the teachers nice ?

Teachers are nice but curriculum is not solid.  My son is attending 2 days 1.5 hours class, it is around HKD1,600 per month.

Did you kid attend other playgroup before? I heard some people say it's better than Victoria.

My son is attending the playgroup at Victoria as well.

I won't say the playgroup at PIPS is bad, just that it is too free, maybe it is international style.  There is no solid cirruculum.  Plenty of playtime.  The teacher is nice, she even setup a page in Facebook where she snapshots some of the kids' photo for us to share the happy moments of the kids at school

The Chinese teacher at Victoria is excellent, she keeps updating us on the progress of the son and advises us on his area of improvement.

The teacher in PIPS told me that the graduates from their school 99.9% will go to Int'l school... so far.. only 1 kid graduated from their local stream la.... others are either transfer to int'l stream or go to other Ks before graduation..
I think if you intend to send your kid to int'l school.. PIPS will be a good choice..

for victoria... some campus is now doing IB programme... may not be able to link to traditional school after graduation.

我女當時讀local班，現在轉了另一間kg。我沒有幫細仔報pips讀pn，因現在經驗多了，覺得pips太free，學費貴，和其實每間kg的分別不太大。當然pips英文會好D，但如只讀1年n班，分別則不大。我想個仔讀傳統學校，和想個仔自理能力好D，所以為細仔報了另一間全日制kg讀n班。如果想為小朋友報國際學校，我就覺得pips幾好。
