I am of the same thinking. We can borrow instrument for learning, which cannot be arranged for private tutor.

I am a music teacher myself. I can see the teachers are not demanding and teach too little every time. And they have "supply" teacher often so they can't follow the students well. :(

for primary section, we also pay once for the term too. but they said students should not stop learning in the middle of the school year.
