My girl told me that they have some sort of tests / assessment conducted this week : Maths on Wednesday, Chinese yesterday and probably English today ......

Assessment tests on the kids were all finished yesterday, that's why they did not have homework yesterday.  They did General Knowledge and Numbers on Tuesday, English on Wed. and Chinese yesterday.
