I have heard a bit different view.  One good thing about 韋氏 is there could be a local benchmark for comparsion based on test results of local kids, e.g. there is a local benckmark for HK 韋氏.  However, there are claim that the local benchmark may not be updated very often and as a result it maybe a bit outdate and when the new generation as a whole is getting smarter, the test result may be an over estimation compared to actual performance of kids of the same age.   

But anyway, I think it is any one more mean to let you understand your kids better and figure out how to better nuture them
