I am always an advocate of half day school.  Plenty of time for extra curricular activities is important, esp. for P.1 and P.2 students.

As my girl is studying at half day school, she can learn a spectrum of activities.  I only need to reduce her activities when she promotes to higher grades.

Her activities include E.nopi Math, Mandarin speech, piano, drawing, swimming, ballet, chinese dancing and Brownie.

But if the whole day schools also offer a lot of activities during school hours, it is still fine.
