I guess your son is in the same competition with my daughter.  Is he No. 43 ?  

Have you checked if it will breach the rule for changing the key ?  There are only a few 'high notes'in that song which could sometimes be resolved by technique.

This song can be "sung in any key" as shown on the amendment.
The problem is not just the few high notes.  Seems like he has difficulty in keeping the same tone colour when running from low to high and high to low.  I tried a few keys for him and F+ is not suitable for him.

Oh, I see.  I suppose you are a teacher too and you must know better than me.  In that case maybe I will try different keys for my girl too.  Thanks and see you in the competition.
