"Insult" is not a must in our learning process.

Everytime we can learn our wrong doings through life experience and make improvement throughout the life. Teachers are such kind of person influence most to our students in her school life, especially the adolescent period. It'll affect their development of self concept.

Actually the school results also reflect the quality of school and students.

You only indicate the problem of parents, but the school seems no responsibility to improve thereafter. Traditional school doesn't mean they'll not change in today world.

ＩＮＳＵＬＴ，　可能人地覺比死更難受呢！

咁小女係ＧＨ只係中上都考到極難考的英國中學又點睇呢?

間間學校都有乖人，曳人，唔能一竹篙打成船人窩　！　

讀ＸＸＳ　十四分文科都收返讀中六，唔通又話間學校唔得？我覺個校長係比個機會個小朋友，唔覺係間學校中六唔掂窩　！

From my point of view, GHPS is very good, teachers are kind, very hardworking, but the principal is very stubborn.  

For GHSS, if compare withe primary school, I believe it is not as good as everybody thinks especially the conduct, discipline.  For all those teachers, some are goods but some are very bad, no responsibility.

For academic side, I fully disagree with what they propose to teach, i.e. Intergrate Humanity, etc.   They have given so much freedom to the students.

The most important GHSS want the students to acheive are to get as many prizes as possible from Athletics, Choir, speech.  

This year HKCEE result is very poor although one of them got 9A1B, some only got single digit marks.  First happened in this school.

Really ??? Where can I find the 2005 HKCEE result of GHSS??? Their webpage below only disclose the 2004 result....

If you don't ask your daughter, how do you know what happens in the school.   Communication is very important.  I do communciate with the teacher even no problem with my daughter.  I must know what is going on with the school.  

There is no point to argue that GHS is not as good as before, so do other famous secondary school.

The HKCEE result will not be posted until December.  We can only learn from the teachers or students.

Certainly communiation is very important. I do agreed.  I will ask constructive  and meaningful question only:

I will ask "Do you like your family ? "
but will not ask

"Will you set fire on our house ? "

As I mentioned before, Good Hope Primary School is a very good one, teachers are very kind and patience to the students.  The academic standard is also excellent.  As a result, when GH Primary student go to any other primary schools, they are always on the top 20.

My daughter also spent a very happy and fruitful primary lift at Good Hope School.

咁多位, 請容許我這個德望新丁媽咪講幾句話.

首先, 我唔會因為有幾個人讀得唔好, 就話間學校唔好. 間間學校都有人話唔好又有人話好, 去年有個朋友話dgxx唔好, 千奇咪讀, 事原佢個姪女年年exam 唔合格, 老師叫佢做IQ test睇

Why are parents always argue:

GHS good or bad
DGS good or bad
SMC good or bad

etc. etc.......

If you feel that GHS is good, then stay at GHS till graduation.

If you feel that GHS is bad, then change to other school as soon as possible.

It is sometimes very difficult to change others points of view and rather a waste of time to argue.

My experience: my friend had extremely good luck to got a seat at St. Mary in the 2nd round :"outside your local district" draw a few years ago.  She had only 2 happy years with her daughter studying in SMC, as her daughter was latter discovered to had "reading writting problem".  SMC asked her to leave the school.  Luckily or tough luck, my friend's younger daughter was also accepted by SMC (due to her elder sister attanding SMC), had the same problem, and also left SMC after only one year.

My friend's comment on SMC changed from very good (her daughters attending SMC) to very bad (after her daughters left SMC).
