唉....見大家d仔女未3歲已甘擔心, 我真係開始驚啦....我個仔都已經3歲4個月啦....都係好少少既句子, 仲要係中英mixed tim.....因佢由細到大都係多種語言環境中大, 依家我cut剩下中英咋..... 但同d同年齡都好似差太遠, 但佢係學校d 老師話佢好叻, 乜都識, 專注力又好強, 記性都好好...但就係表達唔多囉.......

由於佢唔係香港出世, 唔知可以去協康嗎? 而私人既又會係幾錢??

Hello Marcus Ma(sorry that I can't type Chinese),

my son's name is also Marcus(Oct05)...he is having speech delay too...he saw the doctor and did the test at LamTin CAC at Apr and I was told that we would see the speech specialist on 17Jun...

like your Marcus, mine has the same problem - learning everything slower than same age group...he spoke badly when he was 2, so we let him start nursery by 2...since then(Oct07), he showed slow improvement...but since March, he showed very obvious improvement...he usually speaks 4-5 Cantonese words sentance including subject and verb...

你可以試下用一杯水同飲管叫孩子用口吹看下有沒有泡泡．是訓練孩子講ｓ音的．

我囝囝吹笛時唔多識用力/氣, 所以好細聲

吹氣控制較弱發 d "s", "f" 音會差 d, eg 我囝囝講 ""spoon" 時會好似得 "poon" 音咁

My girl doesn't know how to put the tongue up, so she cannot pronouce "d" and "t", any idea how to help her?

其他方面係....佢比較slow....有時老師係黑板上叫小朋友抄寫.....問小朋友抄好未, 如果有小朋友抄好老師就會擦哂然後 next....我仔好多時都抄唔到....好慘所以返到屋企又要同佢train 下抄野!

my son will be 2 yrs 6 months on 7th June.
He only speaks a few simple single words.
we saw the dr. at "kin-hong-yuen" in May and the doctor said he just didn't want talk and other development is above average (he is very sentisive to numbers, he always speaks out the numbers when he sees, and understand numbers to 49)
I speak only catonese to him, but he read a lot of english books and watch english vcd.
i just wait and see now, shall i listen to doctor and just keep waiting, or need to do something for him????
he is in local N1 now,teachers also said he improved a lot in pass few months. when he was 2 years old he spoke none~

Same as my babyboy. He is 2yrs &months old now but keep on baby speach....... He very lazy to talk.

我諗都係好normal ge 事. 因為有d人快..有d人慢. 2yrs 都係好細個姐. 只要多d同小寶寶講野就得架了。

same as my boy
he didn't speak much but also love to read english books
and watch english VCD.
that may also be a reason for the slow
speech development
he is now 4.5yr and can read out story in cantonese
but he still weak in communication
esp in logical sentence.
just pay attention to check if he has eye contact
when speaking, not by how many sentence he can speak.

我仔仔的語言發展都係遲，我覺得佢語言理解能力ok, 但表達能力差，依家2y5m都只係講單詞，一些稱呼，e.g. 爸爸媽媽爺爺哥哥姐姐等，數字1-9, 字母a-z等，會說洗手，開門，奶奶，巴士，車車，cup等，但不會講句子，幼兒園老師都建議請專家評估下，我這幾天正在找資料，可否pm你的私人言語治療師的聯絡電話給我呀，另外如果做治療，是去自己家中定係去佢果度呀？
