國際小學轉local, 可行不可行？

esf 小1（相當于local k3)，明年轉local 讀p1, 可行不可行？什么學校好？

我女女班中都有由國際學校入黎既學生, ok呀
不過留意返, 國際學校學生一般會比較抗拒中文, 因為英文可以拼音, 唔識都估估地, 而中文又難認又難寫..........預左要多d時間去pick up, 我識d家長, 都好頭痛, 尢其是要佢地睇中文課外書

本地傳統學校好多時有精英班制。如果中文差、長期不合格，便沒機會進入。好可惜！

所以要好比心機學中文及普通話！

你女女的同學是在國際學校讀到幾年級轉到 local school 的呢？I already realized that learning Chinese for her is a headache.

Why she wants to move to the local school?  If her daughter stays at Int'l school, her English would be very good and have good accent.

我朋友個仔上年都係咁轉，不過個小朋友就辛苦o的。我好彩一早就比我個仔讀local學校，唔駛中途轉。祝你好運。

咁既年齡(p1), 應該冇問題, 小朋友適應力好強, 如果大d 例如中一咁, 就會辛苦好多!

我兩個小朋友(10&12歲)剛由9 月開始 IS 轉 Local, 他們亦由外地回流返港一年, 他們也很想學好中文, 這一年我不斷洗腦中國如何強大, 在社會的地位, 及中文的重要性, 他們也很認同。唔似初初返港唔知自己是否香港人?????

可能又因為我女女間學校, 小一已經用晒普通話教中文, 咁又係另一個重要考慮因素, 其實而家個trend好明顯, 如果唔學好普通話, 將來競爭力會差好遠

My son changed to local from IS at P1.  He got very frustrated with his Chinese subjects (exactly the reasons mentioned here) but slowly he could pick it up....OR at least he can read newspaper and Chinese fictions, but still not his favourite subjects.  We have just changed him back to IS after P5!

Two reasons, one is for her identity; another is for the importance of Chinese. She was born in the States and always regards herself as an American。 I am tired of correcting her that she is an ABC but not an American.　Besides, China is more and more important in the world and lots of my friends relocate in China for their children to learn Chinese.
