I also suffer same question, my little boy was born in Dec but I prefer to let him to repeat K1 more than K3. I'm concerning his feeling when all classmate gone and only he left in K3. Also the basic skill for writing and skill of finger control are more important than only getting know more words.
Have some confidence in your children. Maybe they can manage K3 very well and won't need to repeat. It's too early to tell.
My son was born in Nov and is now in K1. He's doing fine though I notice his motor skills are not very developed. But I'm gonna give him some time. If he really couldn't manage K3, I'd let him repeat then. It's too early to make the decision now. But I don't think I'd let him repeat at the same kg. I would transfer him to another one just to avoid hurting his feelings.
