學校面試只會收取表現最好既學生 ?

學校有分級數, 每間學校都想有最好學生, 但如果學校唔係最top, d最top既學生又未必會入讀, 學校會否退而求其次, 收d較大機會入讀既學生呢 ?

我覺得唔會，間間都係想收叻而又適合佢地學校的學生，當然亦要睇面試即場表現，我覺得間間學校都係先收哂叻個d，但叻個d又同時會考好多間，結果亦都係收，但最後佢地都只可揀一間，所以最終有淨出黎既位先會吞比排緊隊的好想讀的學生~~~

每間學校收學生準則和計分方法可能會些不同, 但相信也會一些學生是比較熱門, 較多學校取錄的. 學校方面估計不到究竟家長報了多少間及最心水是那一間, 所以都應該會先收佢地認為最好的.
通常到開學前數個月, 就會發現有一些準收生退出, 那到時咪waiting補上.

I think normally schools will pick those who perform best.  So if the kid is slow in response, or shy or not so willing to talk to strangers alone, he/she will have disadvantages in interviews.  But in reality, a lot of these "quiet" kids can do very well academically.  So I believe some schools will also consider the kid's kinder, family background and parents' rationale etc.

I think most school want to accept outstanding students as it is good to the school reputation.  But agreed with Charlotte_mom.

咁講，就算間學校唔係超級勁，但係有位超級勁的學生來報名，間學校會因為這學生多數會被別的學校取錄而 reject 他嗎？ 我看不會罷。有的學校 waiting list 比 acceptance list 還要長，就是這個原因。
