I discovered that many plants has died even before the parents know they are regarded as a homework by the school.  If you are one of the unlucky ones, you can buy a /some replacement(s) from the Fa Yuen Street market for $5 (baby plant) or $25 (older one).  You should move it to a bigger pot with lose mix of sand and soil, place it under sunshine, record its height and number of leaves everyday, give it some nutrients every 2 weeks and cut the tip once it grow above 10cm.  Details of how to take care of it can be found here:
