Derdad, i suggest you should contacts school to get the informations. It is really many things to be released for the new P.1. e.g. summer homework, book-list, uniform, shchool bus ......etc.

for summer work, write Az-Zz 4 times only ? not write all pages of exercise book ?

根據St. Jo "2008-2009年度小一新生家長注意事項"的第4項: 在暑假裏，學生要用英文雙行簿寫Aa-Zz &  Eng name。（跟範本完成一本）， 1/9交回。請問是否有單數頁就寫Aa-Zz 而雙數頁內每行都要寫自己Eng name？因為我記得個班主任好似講過，我個仔讀1A班。

不知其他媽咪是否記得，如不對請改正，萬分感激。

My son is in 1D and I remember the teacher said Aa to Zz for the whole book.  And my son does write Aa to Zz twice on each page.  My son doesn't really enjoy the writing coz he knows how to write A to z when he was in K2 and it is really boring and not meaning for him.  I'd rather the teacher's asked him to write one to one hundred in English, at least something new and more challenging for him.....

In that case, I'm sure your son will get 100 mark in his first dictation, which will come shortly after commencement of the school term .

Dear all P.1 parents,

Please share what you plan to do for better preparation on our boys' P.1 adjsutment. For me, my son enjoys very much the summer holiday, esp. after our trip. He does spend most of his time on playing, eating, watching cartoon and resists to completing the school assigment, Aa-Zz. With different excuse, he sometimes said he forgets to do, or he only writes 2 times (i.e. 1 page but not both sides), or he said the kindergarten teacher said the summer holiday is very long that he  has plenty of time.:;pppp:

寫就應該要寫，但似乎班班的要求好像不同…
其實冇所謂啦，老師都係想小朋友暑假有D嘢做吓啫...
我就選擇將本簿一半Aa-Zz, 一半 Eng. Name...
