I rec'd the letter from GH yesterday.
(I 've already accepted by GH)
They ask us to submit  小一註冊証 to them if we hope to reserve the placement of my daughter.

But I hope to "knock the door "
what can I do ?????

You can submit 小一註冊証 to GH and ask GH to return the same to you if you successfully knock the door of your dream school later. I don't think GH can reasonably refuse your request for return of 小一註冊証!

Agree with JP and you can read the instruction on the registration form about taking back after successfully knocking the door of others.  
Moreover, I think GH is reasonable, asking you to submit before June 15 and registration in mid-July. Some private requires you to sumbit the registration form and pay $3000 this week la.
