請比較SPCC及男拔

只是英文科才分set那麼仔細，中文和數學只要top set(set 1 & 5)和average set(其他sets)兩類。

F1-F3唔會轉班, F3升F4果年會重新分班 ...

中四分班是按學生選科來分班，但英文分set時，仍然是ABC分為四sets，DEF又分另外四sets，所以中四的set1不是最top一set！

要係升F4果年, 如果分到去ABC班, 先有機會入去set1, 否則只會去set5.

是，因為中一至中三期間，很多學生會到外地升學，所以中四時只有六班。

不過今年中二學生升中四時，可以選擇IB課程，所以新高中班應該沒有六班。

請問IB課程易啲,定係行傳統課程易啲?升U會不會好不同?國際學校也行IB,會不會佢啲競爭力強?

My son came from Chinese speaking primary school, he has no problem at all and most student are ok. In case they are far behind, thye will be arranged in English split class for small class learning.

In the past, they aimed for 3 streams - Sports, Music and Academic excellence.

Now, most of students come from primary division and DPS, only 30 seats from other primary school, the competition is very keen. They will focus on the 3 streams, I suspect they will seek morefor talents in sports just in case the students from DPS and Primary Division not strong enough in Sports, vice versa.  Academic may not their primary concerns.

My son is only good at academic results and not for sports and music.

Some boys in school team need to practice alot no matter in sports and music. 3-4 hours per day, which definitely affect their academic results. According to my son's observation, most of them have scholarship.

Some students are good at everything is no problem. Some spent too much time in practices either in soprts or music, they may end up in split classes in G7-8 (F1-F2 in other school). They use small class teaching to assist them in their weakest subject, only have Chinese, English and Maths, three split classes.

很難比較兩個課程那一個難，那一個易，因為兩者的要求差別太大，有學生可能適合傳統課程的要求，有些唸IB會有更好的表現，當然也有兩者都沒問，要視乎學生性格然而。

不過新高中課程的理念有點似IB，但實際如何，仍是未知之數。

至於升入大學，外國大學應該較了解IB，因為新高中仍未實行，另外唸IB也可以non-jupas身份申請本地大學。不過唸IB不便宜，因為成本實在很高。

I now know that they will choose 400 to interview. Band 1尾有機會見嗎？只有朗誦節獎。

SPCC 通常只會interview 全級10名內，Band 1尾應該冇機會見。
