St. Paul co-ed vs Wah Yan

Just assume  so lucky that both St. Paul Co-ed and Wah Yan (自行分配) accepted, which one should I choose?

我覺得兩間唔同級數喎。 如果唔介意比貴學費﹐St. Paul's Co-ed 一定係好多媽咪首選中既首選。 It's my dream school!

Despite of area, comparing the teachers, tests and exams, homeworks,etc.... anyone know which one should I choose if I need to make the choice.

I have also thought about this cause I may need to make the same choice (if I am lucky enough).  While both are good schools, SPCC can provide "一條龍".  As for Wah Yan, I think they will just have 50% quota for primary division.  I don't want to go thro all these again when my son will go to secondary school.

我只是知道在名氣方面﹐兩間學校的確有小小距離﹐你睇每年SPCC既家長簡報會既“噓撼”情況就知啦。

Fully agree with you!  I will definitely vote for SPCC.

要睇你要求D 乜!  St. Paul Co-edu 老牌貴族名校.  Wah Yan 較平民化.  
If your son 's academic result is very good, 就算讀其他小學, he still have chance to be allocated to Wah Yan College, just like what happened when we were young.
但St. Paul Co-edu 中學 就可能難入D.

If tuition fee is not the issue for you, I don't see any reason you should give up SPCC. Despite the prestigious of SPCC, I would say most of the students there are very humble and all-rounded. And the teachers are very dedicated.

Agreed. And if the school fee is a problem, SPCC has a very good Remission Scheme to help. If you went for the interview(s), you must have already accepted the cost, distance, etc. It is hard to imagine someone rejecting a SPCC offer.

For us, we did not even apply, because it is too far and too hard to get in (many old boys/girls cannot even get their kids in). We decided to concentrate our efforts in schools where we have better chances.
