2010 年升小一報料和準備

各位家長可能己經為您們小朋友升小一作準備, 本人手上有些數据及資料, 可與分享及討論, 希望各位多多指教及報料, 例如20分可以報咩小學(我都好想知), 教统局幾時有講座, 私小幾時派表等等, 总之幫到忙的, 全部歡迎.

最近小弟有機會與深水X的聖XX小學老師取經, 佢話2009年小一有二千一百人報名, 男女數目相約, 平均十幾人爭一個位, 第一輪結果通知左四百多人, 主要考慮部份家長在教统局第一輪派位后, 會放棄學位, 所以第一輪收取人數遠高於實際學位數目, (learning point: 考私小第一輪收唔到唔駛驚, 只要有誠意, 機會尚在).

面試方面: 聽落真係有點意外, 四五歲小朋友要面試加考試, 中英數都考, 英文listening 加 multiple choice, 唔識聽就唔識做mc, 數學仲勁, 要將三個數字加起來, 例如 5+6+4=?,

佢話點解考得咁難, 係為左小一課程, 因為小一第一個月就要dictation!

致於家長是否需要交profile report, 佢話每年收二千份表, 每個學生都見, 跟本冇咩時間睇, 最重要就係考試時表現, 其他較次要.

As I said, most school will keep a few places for "repeaters". Note that SRL has 56 seats in this round although only 60 out of total 120 seats were allocated in first round.

you have to go to each school page and compare with the numbers provided by edu. bureau. It takes time to find.

家長可以照叩門, 但唔好有期望
