請問今朝排深水浦聖方濟英文小學的家長門,學校有沒有不收profile.因老公說校務職員話面見先帶,固打回頭唔收.但有朋友下午排隊學校又收??

我無比 profile，我見前面的家長成個 file 拿出來，見職員都是抽 D 資料出來，見不到收成份野。我上午交表。

我有交profile.  下晝3:15去到, 4:50分交到表.  核對出世紙同成績表就抽d copy 出黎揼印.  交報名費個陣個職員收左個profile放落箱.  只係報左4間, 得d間要排到我死死下. :evil:

就係奇怪校長話profile一定收,但今天職員向我老公講面試當天帶埋la,今天不收.要等到下星期再打去學校問問.....(還有這次報名~      )

你地交到 profile 就好啦，我只是按照申請表上他們所需的資料照執，出生紙，成績表，其他好似沒有附，連幼稚園校長封信都沒有。不過隨緣啦。

By the way，我對這間學校印象麻麻，今日我9點去學校，條隊好長 (一個大楷 L 形)，仲要有一邊好猛太陽，曬到頭痛，我足足企了1個半小時，我諗我算快，因為我 10:40 分走時根本看不到龍尾。其實入面的職員好像好得閒，兩個 (每人一張 table) check 文件，另外收文件和出收條的兩張 tables 每張兩個人，見他們好似好得閒，開多幾張 tables 分擔工作，等外面的家長不用等太久。最不明是有一張所謂 "詢問處" 的 table，根本無人問津，個阿 sir 淨坐。好心彈性 D. 無人幫襯就用這張 table check 文件，stupid！難為出面的家長曬到暈，仲有上帶埋小朋友一齊排。

I arrived there at 10:30am this morning & left at 12:10pm.  I was able to submit the profile together with the application form.

This is the same arrangement as last year la!  Still have lots and lots of applicants each year!!!

Probably if they wil use the same selection method for the past years.  Candidiates are required to take written exam papers (no real interview at all), for maths - double digits addition and deduction, Chinese and English up to P1 standard.  

This school will finish teaching both P1 and P2 level of Maths, Chinese and English in first P1 year, so that they can start teaching P3 level in year P2.

So relatively high academic expectation at P1 admission exams.

I submitted the application form together with the profile early in the morning. They just asked me if the school reports were attached inside the profile.

I agree with kinmon , the school can arrange more more counters to speed up the process, may be its a traditional way of SFA and letting parents thought it to be a famous and desperate school.

I submitted the application form together with the profile this afternoon.  I seen the staff clipping my son's form and profile together and put it inside the carton box under the table.

It taken me almost 2 hours for the process.

其實現在已好了，五年前是在平日交表，故要請假一天。
無辦法因年年有很多人考，可能這兩年已少了一些，我那年超過二千五人。

St Catherine helps their students to hand in the application forms together with the portfolio.

However, the teachers said that admission to the school still depended on the interview. Only the parents do not need to line up for handing in the application forms.

我老公朝早由10:30排到差不多1:00,同你情形相差無幾.很多座名車及好似闊太既人,又出動到警察守序,攪到學校個勢很似好勁.....
得3幾個職員做野,佢地都唔係第1年招生la.  :-|  :-|

In view of the discontents above, it appears that SFA's admission arrangement looks not very good this year (unless the number of applicants far exceeding than past years). Together with Thinker's complaint in another topic about the queueing arrangement on test day, I hope getting a chance to reflect to the school.:-x

By the way, SFA's admission test last year was not just the written papers (Eng grammar and listening, Chin, Math, drawing, IQ tests) but also oral tests with 7-8 daily life questions for each kid. Please well prepare.

我老公上年一大早去,唔駛點排隊(不過佢走時,就好多人啦),個職員都係只收了必需的文件,其他打回頭, 遲去的,就收晒全部資料.....

不過最後我呀仔都考到....所以,無收的唔駛太擔心,
考筆試先係最緊要的環節. (注 :我地並無私家車,又無宗教,
又無工人..只係一般家庭).....

所以叫老公去,而其他料打回頭的,唔好話個老公呀...

多謝你安慰 ~我都係咁諗,你唔收我profile算la.最緊要臨場表現,唉!順其自然.

(我就係話左佢,但諗番轉頭幾間學校都係佢排隊,真係好難得最後都補番kiss kiss)

無錯,唔好太勉強去入讀,因為我個人覺得佢地的課程教
好快的,小朋友同家長都要跟得好快,否則,會讀得好辛苦的.
咁當然,若佢自已憑筆試可以考到的話,即係話佢有基本的
能力去應付啦...加油.

筆試應該係面試果日考的,可能教署唔多鼓勵考筆試,
所以學校係會低調進行的, 佢地會做幾張選擇題,內容
都會係一d基本的常識,進行期間,會有d高年級的服務
生照顧佢地的(例如,幫佢地擦字咁),所以不用太擔心..
