This happens to most kids. Give her more music to listen to, because the more the exposure, the more the brain is stimulated by the exposure. Perhaps listening to pure music during lunch/dinner/free-play time would do good bits by bits :) Any instrumental music, such as Mozart sonatas, Beethoven sonatas, or some concertos, sonatina,etc. should be fine, (well..... no heavy metal, heavy rock maybe). Although this process takes time, it definitely would yield positive results. My piano students, (for those who listen to a lot of music), usually develop a better musicality than those who doesn't.
Besides listening to LOTS OF music, get in the habit of paying attention to ALL the dynamics marking would help for sure. Although it seems to be a little artificial at the begining, the child will get in the habit of playing the musical line smoothly and with nice shaping after a certain period of time.
