i'm a DGJS old girl and i hope my 2 girls can get into it. i train them in all areas so that they're all rounded.
my older girl got into there successful and i think i can copy my 'strategy' to my younger girl.
but whenever i mention DGJS to my younger girl, she said she hates it. she doesn't like the campus, doesn't want to study the same school as her sister.
what can i do? i just want to provide the best environment to her, but she's too young to understand.
A lot of old girls prefer NOT to let their kids study in DGJS too. It all depends on whether the school suits the kid or not. Take it easy. Its not the end of the world for one of the kids of an old girl NOT to study in DGS / DGJS. After all, there're so many old girls, the school just can't accommodate everybody.
Somehow, kids are too young to understand the situation. If you think your younger girl is suitable for DGJS's life, I don't think you should worry it so much.
What grade is your elder girl will be in this coming Sept? Are you just preparing your younger girl for her primary application?
