有關K1 interview，有經驗爸媽請進

今年9月想同囝囝考民生K1，但因為阿仔係細b(Nov)，到現在只懂簡單對話，如：喂！謝謝、巴士等…而且仲未識講自已個名 ，很擔心考唔到，所以想問問各位有經驗既爸媽interview時既程序、問題大約係點？會in父母嗎？會問d咩…真係好擔心…麻煩大家幫幫手…thanks

上年係全部家長同細路一齊入晒間房 各自各搵位坐低
小朋友就玩住枱上的玩具等老師行埋o黎問佢問題

老師o固陣問了我小朋友幾個問題:

邊個同你o黎架? -> 媽咪

你玩緊咩呀?
-> 整緊蛋糕 (佢有個焗爐玩具同啲蛋糕响度)

咁你請唔請一舊比我食呀?
-> 比了一舊蛋糕我 再比一舊老師 (比蛋糕我哋之前 佢扮開水喉在玩具的升盤洗手)

之後老師再拎了附近的字母玩具問了
呢個係咩英文字母呀? -> E
呢個係咩顏色? -> 紅色

反而無問佢叫咩名同埋幾多歲, 希望幫到你啦 ^.^

Besides the performance of the interview, I think the school also consider the parent of the applicant.  It is not only means the background of the parent, but also the relationship between the parent and applicant.  The teacher also asked me some questions in the interview and also the parent need to fill up the questionnaire.  The questionnaire is about A4 long, just only 2 questions.  Sorry I can't remember what are the exactly it ask but it is about why the parent want to send their kids to MS.  I think I showed I have a great passion to the school.  I don't know it the reason is.

Don't worry... my son also doesn't know the english letter (even upto this moment). He has been accepted by MS and will be in K1 in this Sept. Don't worry too much. The most important thing that you are showing that you really care of your kid.

I saw a mom shouting to her kid after interview due to the "bad" performance in the interview... it's really bad. No matter what's the result, they are just children...

上年我係in外籍老師.
老師是全程用英文同小朋友對話.
問題大約如下:
問叫咩名,
幾多歲
正在玩什麼玩具(砌圖)
砌圖有d咩公仔(狗, 羊, 貓.....)
什麼顏色(隻狗黃色)
重叫個女唱o左首歌(abc)

之後老師轉問我,
平時誰照顧囡囡.
平時帶囡囡去邊玩等等....
之後去取禮物. o甘就完成

開頭都覺得不公平為何大部份人in都是in本地老師自已就in外籍老師
好彩都收o左囡囡.

The official answer is no.  But I think you may get some benefits if the teachers know their brother/sister's performance.

According to school calendar, 2-3/11 /09 will distribute application form, 7/11 /09 is the deadline of application, pls monitoring and you can contact school how to collect the applcation form.

我記得前年我同阿仔去interview 時, 先要係操場等, 之後由小學部的童軍帶去個別的課室再等, 入到課室, 就要由家長填一份問卷, 有幾條問題, 其中一條好似係問民生的辦學宗旨, 填好再等叫名interview, 成個過程好似係考小朋友的耐性, 到interview 時, 阿仔同我係要分開, 課室入面有2位老師, 1位同我個仔玩, 而另1位老師就問我點樣栽培個仔, 覺得阿仔點樣囉.

我阿仔係大仔, 民生都有收細仔, 舊年我個仔K1時佢幾個同班同學足足細佢成年, 但今年6月學期尾見家長時, 老師有提到有1位小朋友(細仔)因為追唔到, 要repeat K1, 可惜民生無位比佢 repeat, 呢位小朋友就要轉校.
