Feeling depressed

This is such a pressured moment to me.  My daughter seems not performing very well during the past interviews and we dare not expect very good news.   Guess many parents have same feeling with me especially if your kids always perform well at school.  Of course I can't express my feeling in front of my daughter.....!!!  But I am deeply sad in my heart. Anyway, I am so proud of daughter.

唔好咁唔開心啦~  我睇過本書話, 小朋友好敏感ka, 就算你唔講, 佢都feel 到ka..

其實係今次小一入學, 我地D家長真係好大壓力, 但係要樂觀面對, 因為呢種身教(樂觀)可能比我地既小朋友有更大得益, 係佢人生之中, 肯定會有機會面對更大既挫折, 總之, 盡最大努力, 作最壞打算, 盡咗力, 冇後悔就已經好叻啦~~  係咪~!
有時, 係呢一刻我地可能以為呢個係最合適既選擇, 話唔定更好既仲未到呢~

There is no need to feel depressed at all! You never know the schools' criteria and how they chose the kids! Don't blame yourself or your daughter! Some parents said they really did nothing special to prepare for those interviews but their kids could get into good schools. Competition is so keen and don't fall into discouragement so easily. You still have a long road to go in your education of your kid.

Don't be so upset! My son is excellent in academic aspects but up to now, he has not got any offer or even a chance for second interview. But I believe that if your kid is bright, he/she will excel no matter which school he/she is studying at. Education is like a marathon, maybe it seems that we're lagging behind, it doesn't mean that this is the end.

Same am I.  Sometimes my son doesn't want to take a interview when we arrived to the school.  I think he feels the pressure coming from us.  So we are so sorry for him.

壓力在家長，小孩只有幾歲，讓他輕鬆一點比較好。這只是他一生裡很小很小部份，唔好令他有個不好回憶，使他不喜歡讀書。

我經常提自己, 天無絕人之路, 絕處也可蓬生, 我們的小朋友現在要面對的, 只是他們人生的一小部份, 亦是他們的一小步.  何況每當我見到她面試後出來時, 那份不開心(對面試內容不懂得而引發的情緒), 憂慮的面容, 我便會問自己是否太多呢?撫心自問, 她不是已優勝過自己當年咩?為何還不滿意? 所以只要她已盡力, 我每次都會向她說：「結果不論是怎樣, 我已很滿意了, 妳是我的驕傲!」
所有家長, 我們要和小孩子一起繼續努力呀!

沒有名校, 你和小朋友也得繼續生活下去呀. 不要和別人比較. 小朋友需要你的栽培. 加油啊!

雖然係漫長既煎熬, 但未到9月都未知最後結果
就算今次真係失手, 如果小朋友真係有料到, 出年仲可以申請插班, 憑實力, 一定可以更上一層樓, 加油!
