May I ask the parents of primary student - since students will only learn phonics at P1, is there any problem to catch up English in P1? Many tks for sharing.

Is French the compulsory subject from P.4 to P.6 or just the optional?

Not compulsory.  It's maintly for non-Chinese students.

The majority of P1 girls have no problem.  

My advice is: Read more books!
