一般話St.Cat英文好,其實係咪只講緊英普班?

英粵班英文教學及程度又如何?會否有net做班主任?
另請問St.Cat英粵班有多少時間教普通話?

我諗大家都有誤會, 其實ec同ep d英文老師都一樣. 反而ep是新開辦的, d普通話班主任比較新, 經驗不夠ec d中文老師好.
k1大家都有1個net長期stay係班房.

點解SC出名, 當然唔會係呢幾年先有嘅EP class啦. 事實上SC的普通話老師只是一般.

英普班是4年前的产物.
NET teacher 在 英普或英粵是没分别的.

聽到大家咁講,個心先好過d,因為正後悔當初太倉卒交表,沒想清楚,只選了英粵班,結果好似抹殺左仔仔讀英普既機會,更將自己推左去一個兩難局面(因為而家正煩緊選英普教學的蘇浙(如果收)orSC英粵)!!!

如果就選蘇浙(如果收)orSC英粵,大家有無意見可俾我?因為第時想仔仔考港島區小學!many tks!

My girl is in K2 now and there is no NET as her class teacher anymore, however, her Eng standard has maintained and her Cantonese is getting better.  We used Eng mostly at home and she watched Eng Channel at all time.  Even her Eng teacher wonder where she got her Eng accent from.  I think the NET is essential but the environment you have given to your kid is far more important than anything else!!

打算讀港島區學校，那當然選蘇浙了！

非常認同，語言環境最重要，不能只依靠學校。

I don't think the competition was keen in K1 as they were only kids but the report card will indicate the progression of your kid throughout the year!!  My girl was lucky enough as her Eng teacher loves her very much and she was then being selected as one of the kids to lead the nursery fun day performance of her class (I didn't even know until that day) :)

My girl only went for the science workshop and Yip's music class when she was in K1.  This year, she has joined Enopi Math and Spanish class in addition to her Drama and Yip's. She also went for golfing class with us!!

那視乎你讀的是蘇浙本地課程還是非本地課程了！蘇浙非本地課程較好！

Thanks.  She (Angee) is not smart but we just don't want to limit her exposure to certain areas only.  We hope she could try different things and to find her real interest.  She tried ballet when she was only 2.5 but she didn't like it at all.  Even when we ask her now if she wants to learn ballet and she would still say no.  She joined Yip's when she was 3 also.  She was born in Dec 06, so she had started her kinder before joining the Yip's.  

For Eng, they don't have NET as class teacher anymore in K2 but they spend quite a lot of time to do indiviual reader lesson.  They will divide the class into two/three groups and each group will have a slot of time with Eng teacher! The teacher will ask them to read out the reader and teach them the keywords.  Other students will have other activities like in the playgroup, in the music group etc.  By all means, they are only small kids and they can't teach a class of 30 at one go.  

For PTH, Angee has progressed quite well this year.  She sings more songs and poems at home in PTH.  If I remembered correctly, I think there are about 2 sessions each week at least and 30mins per session which the PTH teacher will come to the class to teach.  Once again, PTH is not my mother tongue and I am thinking of sending Angee for supplementary classes in PTH.  I don't want to teach her myself as I will not be accurate!!

我地係報local stream的!! 如果係咁,你覺得選St. Cat較好?同埋, International stream吾會較難涵接上本地傳統小學嗎?
