my girl in P1. usually she can finish homework at school, sometimes a little bit left.

我家大少小三,返下午班,晚晚都做功課做到夜"痲麻",
少功課佢又做得快d個日做到10點.
多功課又心散最夜做到12點半呀. :-x

小女讀小五下午班,通常有7-8樣功課,用個半至兩個鐘.

My daughter is in P.3 PM school.    Usually she spends 1.5 hrs for homework.  5-6 items in average.

My son is in P.1 full day school. He usually has 4-6 items during Mon to Thurs and around 5-8 on Fri. Usually he can do most of the homeworks at school from Mon to Thurs and leaves about 1-2 items to do at home within 15 mins  (more time  if drawing is needed). As he has extra-curricular activity on Fri afternoon, he has to do all Fri homeworks at home. He can finish them within half to one hour (more time needed for Chinese journal). Fewer homeworks be assigned during test week.
