Just share some interview info here.... my kid applied for pre-nursery class and had interviewed in Nov 2009.  Interview was conducted in English.

The teacher observed my kid playing toys displayed in the classroom first. Then asked my kid to build blocks (Lego) and play the shapes sorter box.

Ask Parent –
What language was used in communicating with your kid at home?
Who took care of your kid ?
What kind of toys your kid usually play ?

Have no further idea about the school as I finally choose another kindergarten.

That is a nice school: spacious, strong English curriculum with NET teachers, and caring staff. The majority of graduates goes to Shanghai Alumni Primary School (滬江小學) which is also a good primary school.

My little one is with the N1 there, and she is happy every day, mentioning about friends and teachers, practising the songs and moves she has learnt every day.

If you don't care very much about the Chinese curriculum (students will start learning putonghua in K1 though), that is really a nice choice!

During the interview, I found the teacher quite nice.  Actually, my kid was rejected and I thought it was because I told the teacher that we use  Cantonese at home as my kid was taking care of by grandparents (personal thinking only)....

My kid is now studying in PN class at Victoria (Lower Kornhill)....

Is your baby a boy or a girl?  My boy will study in their N1 this Sep, so I just wonder if your uniform and school bag is still availalbe?  Thanks.
