經歷了四次的幼兒園面試後，我決定要不讓女兒讀直資，要不讓她讀國際學校，否則每次等待派位結果，遲早瘋掉！

唉，其實也是很大的競爭，我現在就是在觀察女兒的性格，才決定她適合傳統還是國際學校的教育，因和你一樣，中學也會送她到外國讀書

Yup, really have to save a lot for one baby. But as a mother, I just hope she can study without too much pressure. But seems it's me to give her pressure indeed. Sigh!

我已經用平常心來面對這些面試了！我們只能為孩子爭取面試的機會，造化全靠他們自己，何必要把自己逼瘋？

在我而言，若孩子的能力只能夠入讀Band 1學校做跑在最後的幾個的話，我就寧願他在Band 2學校做跑在頭幾個之一了！

無謂大家一起受苦！

其實救世軍行蒙特梭利的學校並不容易入，因為他們提供全日制的課程，所以很多人報名。我住那區就要在孩子出世甚至之前就要替他交報名表。很多人輪候的啊！我在孩子約1歲多D去報，已經排在6百多號，但他只收幾十人！所以你們若要報名就要盡早了！

Yup, I just can't control her interview performance. Even though she really perform well at home. Never mind, at least she had already got one offer. I have to comfort myself in this way.

Yup, lots of time things are out of our control. I don't understant why Salvation Army is on a first-come first served basis. I'm planning to have my son to study abroad when he turns 10 or 11 yrs old. However, I still think it's very important for him to learn Chinese and Putonghua at his early and middle childhood. He is to be 2 yrs old next month.. but I'm already planning about something 10 years later........Sigh.... ...

Same as you.  So my husband and I chose an international stream in kindergarten for helping my daughter familier with English and putonghua teaching and studying easier in primary and also overseas colleges when she turns 11 to 12 yrs old.  We are planned that she will study in HK traditional school to learn more knowledge and also discipline first.

haha! Seems we are the same. I even plan my daughter's university now. Most properly will let her study in UK after Grade 10 in HK. Just make sure that she can study chinese better b4 going abord.

以前就話養兒防老,現在,反而是阿女搞到我不能提早退休,唉,但求自仔女聽教聽話,可以保護同埋照顧自己已經好好啦.

It's interesting to see you guys' conversation! I think most of the parents will have this way of thinking! I am the one with this thought as well, actually I planned to let her study aboard after primary edu, but what I concern is their learning attitude! I saw so many my friends' kids whose seem to be too relax if no parents nearby, and thus the result could not be kept as good as in hk. Is it better to let them go aboard after f.3 when they are more mature? Or how to build up a good learning attitude? My daughter is 2.5 hrs old now, it still a long way to go, sigh!

Yup, it's really interesting to have different parents with same views towards our baby here. One more concern to me is that I really don't trust HK's education. Even though I had study in local school and graduate in HKU. I just want my daughter learn more, not just the knowledge from the books.....
