想請問全港的band 1 學校是怎樣區分? 是否全香港的學校拉curve計，或是以區域拉curve計?是不是香港，九龍，新界的band 1 學校成績是相若? 煩請指校?

其實香港的中學並沒有banding之分,只有學生才有分banding.如該中學收取之學生大部份甚至全部為band 1學生,該校就會被視為或被評為我們口中的"band 1"學校.

其實有雞先定有蛋先??? 我估計是以HKCEE來決定中學banding. For example, 培正--收了自己小學的學生, band 1 及band 2都有, 咁佢係band 幾??? 一間中學banding有上有落, 你估間間唔想收晒100% band 1 primary students咩, 而係佢 HKCEE 唔好睇, 被迫收 band 3 生.

以上只是我愚昧的想法, BK 家長可給意見.

DoReMi媽媽  said it right la, there is no such thing as "band 1" school la!  Only band 1 students.
The so-called "band 1"school is the school the a lot of band 1 students have chosen la.


So is the students who make the school "band 1", if so happen many band 1 student choose a "band 3" school, then it becomes "band 1" overnight la!

As there is no formal band 1 or 2 schools, parents call them whatever they want, if parent know many more band 1 choose it, it will be called "band 1" law.  Just a name we call them.  They will have band 1 or 2 students, unless the have no space left after band 1 allocation la.

I called Education and Manpower Bureau to find out la!



By the way, there are only three bands now!

Firstly, sorry for the wrong spelling, thanks for adjusting that!

那麼全港的band 1 學校(學生)的水準(程度)是應該是相若的了!現在沒有了學能測驗，那麼用怎麼來區分他們的grading呢?而學生們的grading是否全香港拉curve計呢?

No thanks la, just share what I heard and found.

I asked the same question, they replied it is (currently but may be changed when my kid go to school) based on school internal grade and also the last three  學能測驗 of the school as reference.  I guess 90 marks in one school may better then 95 marks in another.  But they stress on the fact that all schools have band 1 students so if you kid is doing very well at school, he/she will be band 1 la.

那麼現在真的很難斷定何為band 1 學生，每一間學校的程度也不同，咁全港band 1 學校的水準是否一樣呢?

每一間學校都會有成績較好的(指每班考頭幾名的學生)，但在一些程度較淺的學校，他們的成績可能只等如其他程度較深學校的一般成績，那麼真的不明白band 1學生是怎麼定斷，請問有沒有人有頭緒呢?     
如果只係用學內的成績來定斷，咁d學校鬥淺，是否代表他們變了band 1學校呢?

教育局係p3 有個examin 去test每間學校學生的水準,再內部分學校的grade.

我的理解是, 每一分區各有 1/3 的 Band1/2/3生, 現在的分法是依據過往最近三次學能測試成績, 以定各校佔多少不同組別的學生 (將會改變), 所以大概可以說同一區的 Band1 生程度接近, A 區的 Band1 生如搬去 B 區, 則派位組別可能不同

如果小學來說，在家長心目中的 band one 學校，不外乎是合乎下列條件：
1) 課程深，越多外語科目越好。
2) ロ碑好，係人一聽間學校名就識，双眼會不期然流露出羨慕之目光。
3) 80%-100% 派往 band one 英中。
同意否？

你講個d已經係top top band 1啦! 若要三範都中, 普通無結龍, 無直屬或附屬中學個d咪差不多不入流??? eg. 宣小只得英文科用英文教, 唔中你其中一點(point 1), 咁算唔算band 1呀!

各位家長, 唔好要求咁高啦!

以此看,難道St. Paul 68%及喇沙 67%不好嗎?

我說的是家長們的理想 band one 小學嘛！
事實上，你知我知香港沒有實質的 band one 小學，起碼是沒有劃分，而每間小學都有 band 1-3 的學生，只是比例不同而已！
宣小中两個 point ，梗係 band one 啦！
CSL123 所列的全是好學校，誰敢說 st. Paul 、喇沙不是 band one 學校！
只是
每個人把尺都唔同，有人要齊三個 point，我就中半個 point 都滿足矣！
