Hi, I saw some of your post asking whether getting an IS is difficult. Yes it is. Not only those you mention, some other second tier schools are difficult to get a spot too. So play save, you should apply as many as you can, also have back up plan if you are not offered a spot. As you know, if you choose international stream, it's very hard for you go back to local.

My experience is that if you are not foreigner, your chance to get into GSIS is very slim, unfortnately.

Yes I am very keen to apply IS for my child and just know that some schools have long waiting list since birth

Some school have waiting list, but for most of international school, it doesn't really matter when you apply as long as you apply before deadline. School will put you AFTER kids pass the assessment and it is normally only for a year. If they don't call you, then you need to take assessment next year.
